Every Good Word was created in response to its shepherd's desire to teach the word of God in its truthful entirety, uprooting the unbiblical doctrines of Christianity and rebooting an unadulterated, biblical doctrine for hopeful hearers in the church primarily and then those not in it but considering or contemplating Christ and eternity secondarily.
The founder and leader found failure and fatigue in trying to get lost in and serve among Christ and His anatomy i.e. the church. How lost and dead is the church today! He, not being disgruntled or disaffected, and maintaining His love for Christ's body and commitment to being in it and part of it, did not receive some esoteric or mystical revelation as many false teachers declare. Instead, sorrow, brokenness and repentance wrought this work. The impact of conventional Christianity and its ineffectiveness and powerlessness was affecting the most personal expressions of his life—the home, the heart, the family, the matrimony—while also aggravating Christ. Yes, Christ can be aggravated. The love, love, love of evangelical Protestantism is so overblown and embellished. Christianity and the Church preach and portray a static, two-dimensional caricature of Christ, not revealing Him fully and plainly as He reveals Himself so evidently to five of the seven Christian CHURCHES in Revelation 2-3.
1 John 2:27 became a pursued reality: "The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." Christianity, unfortunately and tragically, usurps this authority and anointing through well-intended but still polluted doctrines. Thus, the Holy Spirit simply led a multi-year trek through the Bible—no commentary, no doctrines, no other books, no static and noise from pretentious pulpits and polluted teachers...just the scriptures, letting the Holy Spirit seamlessly reveal the truth and be the promised Helper Jesus spoke of. Already, you can hear those from said pulpits today echo like Pharisees, scared, asking, “What new doctrine is this?” This is precisely the Bible occurring today, and that actually scares the conventional, traditional church and Christianity.
EGW is seeking to partner with believers, churches and ministries to develop and disciple congregations into a deeper knowledge of the scriptures. Revitalization, spiritual renovation, and expansion of current churches/congregations is the strength of Every Good Word. Our passion is to walk alongside followers of Yeshua so that they are more visible and vibrant in their communities by being more vibrant and veracious in their walk. Believe it or not, Christianity has left some truth on the table. There is more to the Christian story, the church story, than the recycled faith we know as Christianity. It would be one thing if that faith story were the one "once and for all delivered" to the saints (Jude 3), but it isn't. Therefore, EGW's shepherd's and founder wants to connect and create a shared story with others, thereby bringing them into a more communal and powerful faith personally, interpersonally and corporately.
